cake cake and more cake

So before the moving madness begins I wanted to upload some cake pictures for those special relatives who asked to see them. (You know who you are). While in Milwaukee this fall I took up cake decorating as a hobby. Turns out both my grandmothers (waiting for us in Heaven) were also into cake decorating and I have since inherited their wonderful assortment of cake 'goodies'. I'm beyond thrilled to settle into our new home and make good use of these objects. I have NO professional experience with cakes beyond a class in Rosebud, Arkansas when I was 11. For my birthday J gave me cake decorating classes beginning in January! This is one of the reasons he's my hero. I can't wait to start. Ironically I am a Celiac and cannot eat these cakes. :-) My hope one day is to open a Gluten-Free cake shop. J offered to buy me a bakery for sale a few towns away but I'm not exactly ready for that, needless to say. These three pics are: halloween (duh), Frederick the Frog (gift for mom's friend who had a tough week), and the Cars cake (my nephew Gabriel's 4th birthday). Here's to cake....
