New blog, new move, new home, new city, new state, new new new.
This summer J accepted a great job offer with a company based in Wisconsin. His job training would take 14 weeks in Milwaukee, with the company flying him home on the weekends. Instead, I quit my job of 3 years and went with him! We already had an offer on our house so we stuffed our belongings in a 30' storage unit and spent an amazing fall in Brookfield, Wisconsin! I will always remember our time there as so precious. While up there, J's same job over the Texas/Oklahoma/Kansas territory came open. After MUCH prayer and consideration we decided we were Texas-bound! We have always felt we'd end up in Texas and God opened EVERY door this time. The pro: his family is all in Dallas. The con: my family was used to having us one hour away. I dreaded the phone call telling my parents. Just like a great mom, she was overjoyed and thrilled the opportunity came open for us. It took a while for the move to sink in and now I am excited and anxious to get there and settled.
So... tomorrow I "supervise" the loading of the moving truck, pick J up at the airport, and head to our new home in Krum. Here we go....
